56 vehicles for one asphalt mixing plant: Speedlog organised transport to Neftenbach in Switzerland on behalf of Ammann Asphalt GmbH. Around one third of the vehicles carried oversized and/or overweight loads.
Nine manufacturing sites across three countries
The different components were loaded at nine manufacturing sites in Germany, Czechia and Poland. Vehicle selection, permits and transport operations had to be coordinated across the project.
A parallel drum weighing 36 tonnes
The heaviest individual component was a 36-tonne parallel drum, measuring 12.30 × 3.47 × 3.70 metres.
The bitumen tanks weighed approximately half as much, but their dimensions of 14.70 × 3.75 × 3.95 metres were equally demanding.

Specialist vehicles and transport permits
Other components measured up to 3.84 metres wide and 3.90 metres high. These required various specialist vehicles and special transport permits from the relevant authorities.
Thanks to professional advance planning and timely coordination, the transports proceeded according to plan.
