Around 2,300 kilometres to Lalín: Speedlog handled the transport of a HYpact switch to Spain. The destination is approximately 50 kilometres southeast of Santiago de Compostela.
Compact switchgear for the power grid
HYpact is compact hybrid switchgear used in substations and therefore forms part of the power grid.
Its features include a small footprint, suitability for demanding environments and long maintenance intervals. Our customer supplied one of these units to Lalín.
“When a mobile crane is waiting at the destination, the transport timing has to be right. Choosing the right vehicle and reliably coordinating the delivery schedule go hand in hand.”

Open mega trailer for a transport height of 3.12 metres
The HYpact switch had a transport height of 3.12 metres, requiring a vehicle with a low loading deck. An open mega trailer was selected for the journey.
On time for crane unloading
A fixed delivery time had been arranged because unloading was scheduled with a mobile crane. Our vehicle met that appointment, delivering the switchgear to Lalín at the agreed time.
