Passion, teamwork and determination are essential in motorsport. Racing driver Sally Erdmann is competing in the NES 500 endurance racing series with the support of Speedlog. After a promising start to the 2024 season, her team faced an unexpected setback at the second race weekend.
Competing in the NES 500 with 345 HP
We first reported on Sally Erdmann and her motorsport activities approximately one year earlier. In 2024, she took on a new challenge in the NES 500, an endurance racing series comprising six races in Germany and neighbouring countries.
Sally competes for JLC-Racing in a Nissan 370Z producing 345 HP. Each race lasts three hours, with drivers changing after one hour.
Successful Season Opener in Zolder
At the first NES 500 race weekend in Zolder, Belgium, the Nissan 370Z demonstrated its competitive potential.
The newly formed team also made significant progress in working together. Finishing third in their class marked a successful start to the season.
Setback at the Second Race in Assen
The second race weekend, held in Assen in the Netherlands in early June, did not go as planned.
An accident caused by another competitor at the beginning of the race led to technical problems with the car. As a result, the team was unable to finish.
Despite the disappointment, Sally remained determined:
"Sadly, that's part of racing too, but as a team, we certainly won't let it get us down!"

Looking Ahead as a Team
Motorsport brings both successes and setbacks. What matters is how a team responds to challenges and prepares for the next race.
At the time of the original 2024 report, the following race weekends were scheduled:
-
23–25 August: Lausitzring
-
3–6 October: Nürburgring
-
25–27 October: Oschersleben
Speedlog wishes Sally Erdmann and her team continued success and exciting races!
