Speedlog places great importance on apprenticeships and continuing professional development. Supporting new talent and regularly developing the team’s skills are central to this commitment.

Developing talent in freight forwarding and warehouse logistics

Speedlog offers apprenticeships in freight forwarding and logistics services and warehouse logistics. Two new apprentices were scheduled to begin their training at Speedlog GmbH Internationale Spedition on 1 August 2025.

Existing employees also regularly expand their knowledge through training courses and seminars. The aim is to strengthen the team’s expertise and continuously improve the quality of its work.

“Good logistics relies on people with sound expertise. That is why developing new talent and providing regular training for our team go hand in hand.”

– Grigo Simsek

Strengthening customs expertise through training

One example is the professional development of Melanie Esche, Speedlog’s customs officer and an AWA-certified customs specialist. She attended a seminar at the AWA Foreign Trade Academy in Münster to deepen her knowledge of customs declarations.

The seminar focused on export document codes and how to determine them using EZT-online, Germany’s electronic customs tariff.

Through training of this kind, Speedlog strengthens its team’s specialist knowledge and supports the ongoing development of its services.
